Pilgrimages are usually tradition-established. Amid today’s fast-change, walking the way opens re-living tradition. Walking with the ancients grounds our now prior efforts. The specific historicity or science that spawned a pilgrimage may align impossibly now—discard that or accept it—but the authenticity has been grown by those who grew from that pilgrimage. Its value is what a pilgrim seeks. Pilgrim of the World helps align present relevance of that meaning in today’s world for You.

Each faith tradition has its proven pilgrimages, journeys opening Truth through travel in their steps. People have individual pilgrimages also that deepened by adapting faiths. The process of pilgrimage is there. Your opportunity is to meld your own from faith enrichment in other traditions:

  • The journey of Abraham—monotheistic pilgrimages of Christianity, Judaism, Islam, Sufi,
  • The journey of Science—revelation by one, repeated by others, reveals same truth again.
  • Journey from Great Conscience—Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, Taoism, Baha’i.
  • Nature Worship—Creation is alive with spirits to which homage is due
  • Arts—composing beauty patterns from the myriad, sound, visual, performance, healing.

Pilgrim of the World, as an organization, gathers faith traditions so individuals can inform the journeys of their individual lives. Priority is enriching traditions (not separating them apart). Going outside our faith-validated buildings (church, mosque, laboratory, cathedral, gallery), holding to truths gathered in these walls, a Pilgrim of the World goes into Creation to understand. Then more deeply understood, the personal journey is enriched—and the collective pilgrimage also grows.

Goal is to enrich faith journeys: gathering people, information, financing, biology—all by going out from the hallowed buildings where the building fosters separation. Such going gains communion with the whole. Inoculated by Life, by the energies where The All began. That specific pilgrimage injection informs back to the once isolated.

Each pilgrimage morphs identities, overlaying sub-value into larger. Ultimately, Eternal Truth advances, immediately the pilgrim. The customary walking uses personal renewable energies physical and spiritual. This energy contrasts with energies from fossilized energies of the Sun of prior ages. A Pilgrim of the World continually is refining energies for her/his new living.

Truths gain perspective. Morphing persistently. As the growing of a river comes from side-streams joining, in flowing some content, faiths go forward, blending in from the world. Our larger world gathers potential, families and tribes, optimizing through melding as priorities blend. A pilgrim leaves walls human-made (church, mosque, laboratory, gallery) going into the world. Synergism fosters—not antagonism that self-nurtures when isolation talks to itself and convinces.

Also nurtured are world realities. This changes rapidly now as the world is consumed. Creation is being devoured: fresh water, biological species, soil from which the species grow, financial systems that link the planet, and climate nurturing Creation. Devouring indebts generating new Creation. Being fabricated is The Anthropocene. Taking a pilgrimage ventures out to experience that.

While values may differ, journeying is toward a shared end. This is of the world. Such is where pilgrims meet—gathering force by walking working together, coalescing that is harder to achieve when walled off inside—advancing their identities to welcome now faith traditions, seeking re-Creation.
